Telephone!'s last show at KOBALT for a while! Lolly herself emailed me to ask if I could show up and get some pictures! I did what I could, fighting against my digital camera's aversion to spontaneity/instant response, it's recharge time after every flash, and working around interesting factors such as swirling lights and blacklight, playing around with shutter-drag and resolution... Well, for obvious reasons this isn't a paying job for me, but here's a bunch of pictures of the event. I really got to listen closely to Telephone! this time and now I'm kicking myself in the ass for not focusing on their other shows: they're a genuinely fun, energetic little outfit! I enjoyed the hell out of their lyrics and the energy they put out into the audience - it's no freakin' wonder they have such an enthusiastic following, from what I saw of the audience.
