Office building just across the street from my work's parking lot. |
I really like this church situated in the hills, just north of my workplace. For some reason it looks like something I'd expect to find in New Hampshire or something. |
Beautiful array of trees changing color along HWY 100. |
This is an intersection that causes a lot of trouble, as people push their way into lanes, leap into the intersection to cut other people off. Which is strange, because just to the right of the photo is a police station... |
A close-up of the troublesome intersection. People frequently disregard the "no turn on red" sign, or just blow through the intersection, through a red light, whenever the damn well please. I love the foliage, though. |
See, this is the cop-shop. You pull up into the T-intersection and their parking lot is directly across from you. |
No matter how bad that intersection is, a dozen beautiful trees can usually ease me out of my concerns... for a while. |
Pleasant little suburban neighborhood, a children's municipal park kitty-corner from a church. |
The playground in question. ... Why did I take this picture? I never play here. |
More trees! Northbound on France Avenue, headed towards W38th St. |
Eastbound on W38th Street, and I notice my lens may be a little foggy. Oh well, I love these trees. |
We come into a neighborhood suffuse with imperious wealthy families, all of whom absent-mindedly drive SUVs. |
Beautiful landscaping on the golf course, north side of W38th St., that somehow looks like a Louisianan cemetary. |
...Okay, I like trees, but I really have no idea why I'm taking so many freakin' pictures of them. |
This was a visually-dazzling tree whose leaves are in transition, I had to preserve this. The pedestrian and traffic is just a bonus. |
Why are some trees still green and verdant, while others are ochre, russet, vermillion, maroon? It is a mystery to all. |
