Uch. I just don't like kids. Sometimes they can be cute, but those are rare occasions. I mean, it's a rare kid who reads quietly and answers your questions clearly and shares their imagination with you and is not starved for attention. I know a couple like this, and I wish all kids could be like them. But for the most part they're spoiled and whiny and attention-starved, due to being heedlessly spawned by unprepared, immature parents racing through their little domestic checklist as quickly as they can manage.
