Dear friend,
Good day to you and people around you. Please don’t be surprised or worried when you receive this letter from me.
I am writting to you because a Nigeria that has stayed in your country told me about your kindness and Godness to humanity. Please I am writting to you because Nigeria has made me motherless, fatherless and homeless and has left me in object poverty and stress.
On the 27th of January the year 2002 there was bomb explosions which lasted from 6:00pm in the evening till 9:00pm the same evening in Ikeja military cantonement where we were living. The explosions burnt all the houses and human beings in the cantonement who were not able to escape. My father is not a soldier but he was operating a mini-supermarket there and that is why we were leaving there.
The fire burn him, my mother and our last born, including the minisupermarket, our house and properties. The remaining of my two brothers and two sister were not burnt because they went for Sunday evening service in a church which is situated outside the cantonment. Myself, I was in my former school, Lagos state University (LASU) and that was why I was not burnt. Many people who ran out of the cantonement drawned in a water-canal some distance away from the cantonement.
Please my purpose of writting this letter is to beg you for help. I and my brothers and sisters are no more schooling, no money to pay school fees, hunger and starvation has been our own portion. This is because in the charity home where we are staying, we are not able to get anything because the majority of the inhabitants are soldiers and they don’t allow us to claim our rights. In the charity home where we are staying, the management is telling us to get out of the charity home because we don't have relations that make contributions to the feeding of the people in the charity home and this adds heavily to our problems.
Myself, I am no more schooling because LASU is a state owned institution and in Nigeria, we pay a lot of fees in state owned institutions. Because of malnurition the smallest of my brothers is now suffering quashiokor. Please help us in the name of Almighty God.
Any from of help you want to give send the information through the E-mail box:- ikeindueche@yahoo.com If the help is money send it through WESTERN UNION MONEY TRANSFER FIRST BANK OF NIGERIA PLC then send the information and transfer code through the above E-mail box.
The military personnels told us, Nigerians that the bombs exploded because they were very old. Even it was after some minutes when the President had gone to inspect the bombs that the explosions started.
Please help us in the name of Almighty God and He will reward you and your family for ever.
Thanks, ever yours,
Isaac Ikechukwu Ndueche
