One day this woman's husband dies, so she takes his body down to the mortuary for preparation. "The funeral is in two days," she instructs the undertaker, "and it's going to be an open-casket funeral... can you make him look nice?"
The undertaker doesn't think it'll be a problem, until she adds that he has to be seen in a blue blazer. He says, "Hold on a minute, here. Two days? Where am I going to find a blue blazer in two days?"
"But that was his dying wish," the widow says, irritation edging into her voice.
"I understand that, but... this is such short notice. Look, I have a very nice selection of black suits and tuxedos you might want to look at-..."
The widow cut him off and bitched him out vehemently. "How dare you! This is my husband's dying wish, that he be shown and buried in a blue blazer, and you will damn well wrap him up in a goddamned blue blazer if you have to break into a yacht club to get one!!"
Hands raised in supplication, the undertaker begged her to calm down, assuring her he would find a blue blazer somehow. She spun on her heel and stormed out, and he grumbled darkly behind her.
Two days passed and the funeral occured. It was a resplendant yet tasteful affair, bouquets of flowers surrounding the casket, and as the family and relatives paid their last respects they saw him laid out in a sharp blue blazer. Afterwards the widow sought out the understaker: "Please, I wish to apologize for my behavior of a few days ago. It's just been so stressful, suddenly losing my husband compounded with all the funereal preparations and arrangements... You really did a wonderful job with him, he looks magnificent."
"It was nothing, really," the undertaker confided. "As a matter of fact, you could say the problem solved itself."
"Oh? How?"
"Well, not ten minutes after you left, another widow came in with her husband, who happened to have died in a blue blazer. I lined the bodies up next to each other, and they seemed to be of approximately similar build and height," he said, shrugging...
"so I switched the heads."
